Special Containment Procedures: Given that SCP-iota is effectively self-contained, no Foundation efforts are needed at this time. (See Addendum iota-01.) At least two (2) Foundation personell of Level 2 clearance or higher should biweekly conduct an analysis of events to detect any exposed information. In the event that protected information has been leaked, notice should be sent to each Foundation Site that is within 30 mile promimity to an affected area or that is responsible for monitoring any affected individuals or concepts. Such Sites are then authorized to perform Veil-patching efforts at their discretion, which may include mass-amnestic and/or disinformation campaigns, and may dispatch any unocopied MTFs as necessary to do so.
Description: SCP-iota is a humanoid dual memetic-antimemetic hazard. SCP-iota’s anomalous properties include persistent awareness of the Veil despite amnestization and apparent inoculation against most cognitohazards without exposure. It typically ensures that knowledge of the anomalous is not exposed, so there is no threat at this time. (See Addendum iota-01.)
Addendum iota-01: As of [DATA EXPUNGED], SCP-iota has begun frequent exposure of anomalous knowledge and phenomena, at times including mild infohazards, and should be monitored as described in the ammended containment procedures.
